My practice explores the landscape around me, notably that of the Calanques of Marseille. I work with discarded stone, transforming it into objects of use and beauty. In parallel, my photographs trace the relationships between landscape, architecture and everyday life.

I'm particularly interested in working with Pierre de Cassis, a stone rich in local and cultural significance.

Pierre de Cassis was famously used to make sinks in the region until the quarries closed.

In honour of this, and of Marseille's soap industry, I reform old Pierre de Cassis sinks into soapdishes, amongst other objects.
